Global Services is a $50m per annum (2007), fast growing and highly profitable global business within Nielsen, specializing in the sales and production of ad hoc and continuous multi-country data.
The role
The role involves increasing Nielsen Global Services revenues from existing and potential Nielsen customers.
- To work closely with the International Client Directors, to service centrally managed clients (CMC)
- To work closely with local client service based in France to encourage and help them to sell GS products to their clients.
- To identify opportunities and sell Nielsen Global Services products to a broad range of existing clients / prospects. (Sales range from 2,000 Euros for a Snapshot sale to multi-million data harmonisation projects.)
- To achieve/exceed sales objectives and targets
- To take on the selling of new initiatives
- To develop, motivate and help other members of the Global Services team.
The person
- A graduate with 2-4 years successful Nielsen client service experience, dealing with FMCG manufacturers
- A good knowledge of Nielsen services especially retail tracking, KAD and consumer panel
- An interest in working in an international environment
- A sound understanding and interest in the technical aspects of the Nielsen business: production systems, database design, New Factory, I-sights
- A self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills, results orientated with the ability and desire to sell.
